About Coffee And Cocoa

Located in the charming hub of 6556 S Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Holladay, Utah, there's a delightful little hideaway known as Coffee And Cocoa. This spot isn’t just another dot on the breakfast restaurant map; it’s a delightful blend of coffee shop, bagel joint, chocolate cafe, and tea house all wrapped into one cozy corner. It's also an internet cafe—perfect for freelancing with your laptop over a warm brew or for happily using free Wi-Fi while savoring confectionery goodness.

Stepping through its doors, a glorious aroma immediately teases the senses, wafting from steaming mugs of expertly roasted coffee and freshly baked bagels. The menu is refreshingly diverse. Coffee aficionados can choose from an array of brews—espresso shots, frothy cappuccinos, or if feeling adventurous, perhaps the cocoa-laced mocha. Meanwhile, tea lovers might find themselves torn between the earthy notes of a chai latte and the invigorating burst of a ginger lemon blend.

Breakfast plays an unrushed symphony at this establishment. Imagine biting into a bagel that’s simultaneously crunchy on the outside and soft inside, layered with cream cheese and smoked salmon—perfection. And those with a sweet tooth won't feel left out thanks to a section dedicated to all things chocolate. Rich, velvety truffles and marshmallow-topped hot cocoa offer a sugary escape from reality.

Reviews from first-timers and regulars alike paint a vivid picture of satisfaction. Many mention the friendliness of the baristas, always eager to help customize an order or suggest a pairing that hits the spot. Some rave about the serene setting; it’s not every day that a cafe manages to make you feel like part of the family from the get-go. The blend of quick service and warm ambiance keeps patrons coming back.

While it's the food and drink that steals the spotlight, the locale itself is a gem. Nestled in Holladay, it provides a cozy pitstop before or after exploring the natural beauty of Big Cottonwood Canyon. An ideal gathering spot for early birds looking to kick-start their day or for night owls wanting to wind down with a mint-infused hot chocolate.

The allure of Coffee And Cocoa lies not just in its menu, but in its ability to transform a simple visit into a comforting escape where flavors meet friendly faces. It’s a lovely spot worth exploring, whether that means plotting out a morning strategy or simply unwinding with a good book and a great brew.

I frequent this coffee shop. Coffee cake tasted good and I was told was made locally in Sandy. The light brew coffee is tasty. Each seating has outlets for charging your electronics. Seatings are comfortable. The staff are friendly and well trained. As usual I love love love a coffee shop that provides a space for local to put up posters. I do wish they have a bigger community bulletin board for this purpose. Another down side is I don't see a recycling trash can. For these two reasons, I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars

Stopped here with a friend, was craving a breakfast burrito and THEY DELIVERED! Loved that it wasn’t a super greasy tummy ache kind of burrito either. It was made with turkey bacon! I also got the spiced chai and it was absolutely delicious. I wish it was slightly hotter, but just a note for next time. Can’t wait to go back!!

A couple weeks ago I had to stop at a store and I looked up and saw this place. I had never been here, but I wanted a coffee so I stopped by to try it out. I was expecting a so-so coffee but didn’t really stress about it (even bad coffee is still coffee, right? 😀) I was absolutely blown away with how smooth and wonderful their coffee was. Many coffees taste good but then have that bitter taste after. Not this coffee! It was so smooth and so good. I have now been back almost every day for more. I usually am not a breakfast dude, but this morning, I decided to try a burrito-hell, the coffee is outstanding-maybe that is okay too. It was just as good as the coffee!! Normally, I leave my reviews to just the food etc. but there is something better here at Coffee & Cocoa…and that is the staff!! In just two weeks, I have learned most of their names and they all remember me. With hundreds of guests each day, I am amazed that they know me. The Riley’s, Grace, Brynn, Morgan all actually love their job and it shows. I feel at home every time I stop here. I could not recommend a coffee shop more!!!

Great place to get coffee! Free high speed WiFi and places to charge if you tend to work while you drink. Has many fun and cute drawing. Is a fun local place to stop for coffee while coming down the canyon or need a warm pastry. Is also dog friendly and has free treats for your four legged best friends.

Absolutely love this atmosphere. The staff is bubbly and smiles. They also strive for zero waste which is a big bonus in my books! Will come back when I’m back in Utah!

Coffee & Cocoa! My favorite coffee spot in the heart of cottonwood heights. Convenient location, off of Wasatch & the freeway. Spacious, lots of natural light and a huge menu full of coffee, teas, food, etc. you’ll have a hard time deciding what to get! I enjoy supporting local as well. Check it out!

My first time visiting and I’m not disappointed!! The staff was extremely friendly and helped my find the perfect drink and sandwich. Seeing how it was also their 4th birthday I got a free cookie which was delicious! The space is very welcoming and a fun spot to hangout at. There are tons of outlets to use and some even had USB ports built in. I will also add they had local honey which is always a win in my book. My food was made greasy to my order and tasted great! I got a punch card for a free drink (Wednesday are doubles punch days FYI). They had newspapers out on tables for people to read. And not only was there a sign on the door letting me know I was beautiful (haha) there was also a bowl of water out front for dog. Overall a nice friendly spot to visit!
